Baita Arami is a little jewel nestled in the mountains above Gorduno with a spectacular terrace at 1500 meters above sea level.

Once an alpine pasture, it has been restored and renovated by the Alpe Arami Foundation. Since 2020, the hut welcomes you with local cuisine and the possibility of overnight stays.

By car

Exiting at Bellinzona Nord you cross the Ticino river and arrive at the village of Gorduno. After crossing the center you arrive at the beginning of the mountain road that goes up towards Baita Arami. From the big parking at the very end of the road it's a 10 minute walk to the hut.

If you arrive by car you will be asked to pay a contribution of 7CHF to the Patriziato of Gorduno. Payment is possible with TWINT or in cash (parking meter at the purple house of the patriziato of Gorduno) or at the counter of the municipality of Bellinzona or at the «Bottega del Paes» and the «Antichi Sapori» restaurant in Gorduno.

Shuttle bus

A shuttle bus service is available upon reservation. You can reach Alpe Arami, departing from the CASTIONE FFS station. It leaves 3 times a day and can be booked from a minimum of five people.

We, Joël and Jana,

are happy to welcome you, in this little paradise. We are a young couple with long experience in the hospitality sector.

Our paths crossed on the Camino de Santiago and we both share our passion for nature and simple life. Since 2024 we are running the hut, with the focus on offering local products and traditional cuisine.
